satellites launching over the next three years

Our in-orbit investment programme has three key objectives:

- to renew our satellite fleet in order to maintain long-term relationships with our customers

- to increase resources addressing emerging markets

- to innovate in order to expand the portfolio of applications running through our satellites

 

Eutelsat continues to pursue an expansion programme targeted at fast-growing markets, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, while reinforcing our presence in longstanding European markets.

The upcoming launch schedule is indicated below:

 

2019

EUTELSAT 7C will be launched to 7°E, to provide coverage of Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa

EUTELSAT 5 West B will be launched to 5° West for video markets in Europe and North Africa.

EUTELSAT QUANTUM: the first of a new generation of satellite that has agility, adaptability, responsiveness and performance at its core.

KONNECT: new-generation High Throughput Satellite offering unprecedented operational flexibility.

 

2021

KONNECT VHTS: Ka-Band capacity over Europe to support the development of European Fixed Broadband and in-flight Connectivity businesses.

HOTBIRD 13F & HOTBIRD 13G will replace the three existing satellites at the 13° East flagship neighbourhood.
